The Ministry of Transportation (MOT) of Indonesia has completed 21 of the 35 National Strategic Projects (PSN) in Indonesia’s transportation sector since 2020. This includes five airports, six railways, and 10 port projects nationwide.

The recently completed rail projects include the Tebing Tinggi-Kuala Tanjung railway in North Sumatra, Makassar-Parepare Phase 1 in South Sulawesi, the Palembang Light Rail Transit (LRT) in South Sumatra, the Greater Jakarta LRT, the (HSR), and the Yogyakarta Airport Railway.

Meanwhile, MOT has also completed 10 port projects including the Malay Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Port in East Kalimantan, the Labuan Bajo Multipurpose Terminal, the Bitung International Hub Port, Kupang Port, Kuala Tanjung International Hub Port, Kijing Terminal Port, Sanur Port, Patiman and Likpuang ports, and Makassar Newport.

For 2024, the agency aims to complete nine transport projects including the Dhoho Airport in Kediri and the Raja Haji Abdullah Airport. Beyond 2024, MOT will ​​finish works on five key projects including the construction of the North-South and East-West lines of the Jakarta MRT.
