The Government of Indonesia has announced plans to export up to 300 MW of electricity to Southeast Asia through a 400 kV underwater transmission system. The electricity that will be exported will be produced using new and renewable energy sources (EBT).
The plan was announced after the development of a 2.2 GWp floating solar power plant (PLTS) in Duriangkang Reservoir, Batam, Indonesia.
