Oil and gas shipping company PT Berlian Laju Tanker has announced its plans to complete the restructuring of its Rp 18.08 trillion debt by end-2012. The company is currently in talks with its creditors, led byNorway’s DNB ASA to finalise its restructuring plan. Borrelli Walsh Limited has been appointed as its adviser for the restructuring process. Once the process is completed, the company also plans to undertake a realignment of its operations, increasing its focus on shipping liquid chemical and gas, while curtailing oil shipping activities.
