The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Indonesia, has appointed two new officials to oversee the country’s renewable energy and oil and gas industries. Dadan Kusdiana has been appointed as the renewables director general and Tutuka Ariadji has been appointed as the oil and gas director general. Dadan has been tasked with pushing Indonesia’s renewable energy mix to 23 per cent by 2025. Besides, Tutuka will be tasked with raising Indonesia’s oil production to one million barrels of oil per day by 2030.
