The Indonesian government has signed a cooperative agreement with Australia’s Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) on renewable energy development for green industry. As per the agreement, the two sides will establish a joint task force to facilitate, expedite and materialise FMG’s investment in Indonesia in the construction of a 60 GW hydroelectric power plant and a 25 GW geothermal power plant.
