A subsidiary of International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) has been granted a one-year extension for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the Muara Container Terminal (MCT) in Brunei. ICTSI’s subsidiary, New Muara Container Terminal Services Sdn Bhd (NMCTS), received a notice from the Ports Department, Ministry of Communication, stating that its services agreement for the O&M of MCT has been extended for one year. The extension has been granted until May 20, 2017. The NMCTS facilities include a 250 metre long quay, occupying a total area of 5 hectares with a capacity of 250,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs).
