Hyundai Rotem has delivered the first of eight two-car trains for Phase I of the Jakarta light rail transit (LRT) system. The delivery is part of a $33 million contract secured by the company in February 2017 to supply eight two-car trains by October 2018. The contract includes an option to supply an additional 94 trains at a cost of $167 million.
