HS Hyosung Advanced Materials has completed and commenced operations of a 17.5 MWp rooftop solar power facility at its manufacturing plant in Nhon Trach Industrial Park.
The project was implemented in collaboration with NuriFlex and forms part of the company’s Smart Green Factory initiative, which integrates renewable energy with digital energy management systems. The facility incorporates IoT-based technology to enable real-time monitoring of power generation and optimise operational efficiency.
The company plans to expand its solar capacity at the site to 37.5 MWp by August 2026. Once fully operational, the installations are expected to deliver annual electricity cost savings of over USD4 million while reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving overall energy efficiency.
