Ho Chi Minh City is estimated to require over 13 trillion dong to build and repair roads in 2014. The key works include linking Thai Van Lung Street to Ton Duc Thang street; Ba Chiem Bridge to Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park; Nguyen Van Bua Street to the Hanoi Highway; and the embankments along the East–West Highway’s canal. In addition, the implementation of ongoing projects like the construction of the Tan Son Nhat–Binh Loi Outer Ringroad and Provincial Roads 10 and 10B, as well as Soai Rap dredging, will be accelerated. Moreover, investments are required for the remaining sections of Beltroad No. 2, the Binh Tien Bridge, and a tunnel at the An Suong intersection.
