Hitachi Rail has secured a long-term service support (LTSS) contract for the Integrated Supervision Control System (ISCS) on Singapore’s North East Line.
The contract, which begins in 2026, will see Hitachi Rail provide technical expertise and obsolescence management services for the ISCS used by SBS Transit Rail. The programme is expected to support the system over the next 15 years, helping maintain operational reliability and reduce dependence on short-term maintenance fixes.
Hitachi Rail has worked with SBS Transit Rail since 2003, supporting the original ISCS deployed for the North East Line, Singapore’s first fully automated MRT line. The ISCS integrates the monitoring and control of key railway systems to support safe and efficient operations.
