Hengtong Optic-Electric Company Limited has secured the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract to build a 200 MW solar power project in Cambodia. The total project investment will be $200 million, for which the company is seeking funds from banks in China. The power project, owned by Inner Renewable Energy (Cambodia) Company Limited, will include the development of two solar power plants, each of 100 MW. Hengtong Optic-Electric will be responsible for the design, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of the two turnkey projects.
