Hanersun has been selected to supply photovoltaic (PV) modules for a 48 MW industrial decarbonisation project in Lopburi, Thailand. The project is being developed by Minebea Super Solar Power, a joint venture between MinebeaMitsumi and Super Energy. It includes a 48 MW solar installation paired with a 60 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS).
Hanersun will supply its HITOUCH 6N 715 W bifacial n-type modules, designed for high efficiency and performance in hot and humid climates, with enhanced durability and anti-degradation features.
The Lopburi facility forms part of a broader renewable energy portfolio, which also includes a 104 MW / 129 MWh project in Bang Pa-in, Ayutthaya. Both projects are aligned with MinebeaMitsumi’s strategy to decarbonise its operations in Thailand.
The project has been selected under Japan’s Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) for fiscal year 2025, supporting industrial emissions reduction through international collaboration.
