Global Renewable Power Company Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Thai energy producer Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited, has signed a deal to acquire the holding companies of nine solar power facilities with a combined power generation capacity of 39.5 MW in Thailand. Specifically, the company has agreed to take over NPS Star Group Company Limited, World X Change Asia Company Limited, PP Solar Company Limited, and TerraForm Operating (Thailand) Company Limited. These firms hold plants located in the Phichit, Suphanburi, Lopburi and KhonKaen provinces that sell electricity under a 25-year contract with the Provincial Electricity Authority.
