The Government of Philippines has allotted multiple development projects to the barangays, the smallest administrative divisions in the country. The allotment of these projects was made through the Barangay Development Program (BDP), the main development project of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC). The total value of all the projects is PHP16.44 billion.

Each barangay will receive PHP20 million allocation for their respective development projects in the infrastructure and non-infrastructure program categories.

For infrastructure projects, PHP11.6 million has been allotted to develop 928 farm to market roads in 747 barangays, PHP2.3 billion for the development of 518 water and sanitation system projects, and PHP491 million for 173 rural and electrification projects.

As of September 2021, 182 projects are in the implementation stage, 782 are under procurement, and 1,319 are in the pre-procurement stage under the BDP.
