The Government of Laos has agreed to supply around 100 MW of electricity to the Government of Singapore under the Laos-Thailand-Malaysia-Singapore Power Integration Project (LTMS-PIP). A power purchase agreement (PPA) has been signed between Electricite du Laos (EDL) and Keppel Infrastructure Holdings Private Limited (KI) to facilitate the sale.

The LTMS-PIP is an effort by the Government of Laos, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore to trade energy beyond neighbouring countries through the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) and ASEAN Power Grid (APG).

EDL also sells electricity to Malaysia under a PPA signed with Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB), as a part of the Laos, Thailand and Malaysia (LTM) project.
