The Government of Indonesia has approved an additional capital injection of IDR110.52 trillion into 11 key state-owned firms and agencies for the 2021-22 period. The approvals include a IDR6.9 trillion capital injection towards PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI), the state railway operator, to finance the 142 km Jakarta–Bandung high-speed rail (HSR) project.

Some of the other approval includes a IDR5 trillion capital for PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara, the state electricity firm, to finance the expansion of its electricity network and increase grid capacity, as well as capital injections towards Waskita Karya and Adhi Karya to finance several infrastructure projects in Indonesia.
