The Government of Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) is seeking investments worth USD12.4 billion to finance around 55 infrastructure development projects in Cu Chi and Hoc Mon districts in Vietnam.

The majority of the funds will be used to improve traffic and technical infrastructure, such as the HCMC-Moc Bai Expressway, Ring Roads No. 3 and 4, and Metro Line No. 3. Works on the Moc Bai Expressway is scheduled to commence in 2023 and is expected to be completed in 2025 and the highway will link HCMC with the Tay Ninh province on the border of Cambodia.

Ring Road No.3 will span over 90 km and allow passage from Binh Duong, Long An and Dong Nai without having to enter inner HCMC while the 36 km Ring Road No.4 will link Ben Luc Town of Long An Province with Hiep Phuoc Port complex in HCMC’s Nha Be District. Metro line No.3 will span over eight districts of Binh Tan and Binh Chanh.
