Malaysia-based GOM Resources Sendirian Berhad has signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with Indonesia-based PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk in order to bid for marginal field development projects and risk service contract (RSC) projects in Malaysia, as well as exploration and production projects regionally. Both companies will jointly carry out the evaluation and analysis of technical data to assess the viability of identified opportunities. GOM Resources is a provider of offshore construction services in Malaysia, while Medco Energi is an integrated energy company focusing on the exploration and production of oil and gas.
