Ayala-led Globe Telecom has acquired full ownership of Asticom Technology as part of its plan to enhance its presence in the information and communication technology (ICT) business. Asticom is a systems integrator and an IT services provider for domestic and international markets. Under the agreement, Globe sold 49 per cent stake of Azalea Technology and 51 per cent of SCS Computer Systems. Azalea Technology is a wholly owned subsidiary of conglomerate Ayala Corporation, while SCS Computer is a subsidiary of SingTel.
