GCL System Integration (GCL SI) and Getz Energy Company Limited have signed a memorandum of understanding for the planned supply of up to 1 GW of photovoltaic modules over the next three years to support Thailand’s renewable energy expansion. The agreement is intended to strengthen utility-scale solar deployment and support the country’s transition toward low-carbon energy systems.

Under the agreement, GCL SI will supply photovoltaic modules and battery energy storage systems for large-scale and hybrid solar projects. Module deliveries will be implemented in phases aligned with project construction and grid connection schedules. The collaboration supports Getz Energy’s long-term renewable energy strategy and broader plans of parent company Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC) to expand utility-scale clean energy generation and intelligent energy management solutions.

GCL SI also showcased its latest solar technologies during the event, including products based on TOPCon and GPC technologies designed for utility-scale and distributed solar applications. The partnership reflects growing investment in solar infrastructure across Southeast Asia, where increasing electricity demand, grid modernisation initiatives and decarbonization targets continue to support renewable energy deployment.
