Garuda Indonesia has received an award under the “Top Airline by Absolute Growth in Passenger Carriage for South East Asia” category. The award is in recognition of the airline’s achievement in registering significant passenger growth at the two international airports in Southeast Asia and East Asia, namely, Changi International Airport in Singapore and Incheon International Airport in South Korea.
Garuda Indonesia shares this award with three other airlines, namely, Korean Air for the East Asia region, Emirates for the Middle East, and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines for Europe.
Recently, Garuda Indonesia won a similar award at the Incheon International Airport Co-operation Awards for “The Best Airline of the Year 2014 Award Group D”. The title was awarded to the airline for its achievement in carrying more than 200,000 passengers during 2014.
Further, at another event, Airport Interior and World Travel Catering & Onboard Services 2015, held in Hamburg, Garuda Indonesia received the “Outstanding Food Service in Asia 2015” award from Pax International magazine.
