Spain-based wind turbine maker Gamesa has signed a deal to supply turbines to Japan-based Kanematsu Corporation’s San Lorenzo wind farm on Guimaras island. Based on the contract, Gamesa will supply, assemble, and commission 27 turbines (2 MW each) at the facility and will be responsible for their maintenance for six years. The turbines will be delivered over the course of 2014, while the full commissioning of the project is scheduled for end-2014.
