Phuong Trang FUTA Express Service Corporation (FUTA Express) and Vireak Buntham Express Co Ltd (VET) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen cross-border logistics connectivity between Vietnam and Cambodia.
Under the MoU, the companies will jointly develop two-way freight transportation services, integrate logistics infrastructure and operational processes, and expand the use of technology for shipment tracking and supply chain management. The partnership aims to establish a more efficient, transparent and reliable cross-border logistics system to support bilateral trade and regional economic growth.
FUTA Express operates a logistics network across Vietnam, supported by warehouses, transportation fleets and delivery points, while VET is a major logistics provider in Cambodia with established local operational capabilities. The partnership will combine the companies’ respective networks and market expertise to improve cross-border freight connectivity.
A key focus will be agricultural logistics. The companies plan to develop specialised solutions for fresh produce, seasonal products and temperature-sensitive goods. The initiatives are expected to reduce transit times and logistics costs, minimise post-harvest losses and improve market access for agricultural products in both countries.
Following the signing, the two companies will begin implementing the agreed initiatives with the aim of developing a seamless and sustainable Vietnam–Cambodia logistics corridor. The partnership is also intended to strengthen regional connectivity and support economic development in both countries.
