Vietnam has received 2.04 trillion dong in credit from France to strengthen the country’s power transmission network. The French government and the Agence Française de Développement (AFD; the French development agency) have jointly provided the credit to help Vietnam to realise its 2011–2020 National Electricity Development Plan goals.
