Vietnam-based operator FPT Telecom has launched a new internet service package offering 1 Gbps speed to its customers. FPT Telecom will utilise its existing optic fibre network to deliver the service. According to the operator, this is the fastest speed on offer in the country. The service became officially available from May 1, 2017 in Vietnam’s capital Hanoi, along with Ho Chi Minh City.
