Vietnam-based technology company FPT Corporation and Singapore-headquartered transport operator ComfortDelGro have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to explore collaboration in artificial intelligence, smart mobility and logistics solutions across the Asia-Pacific region. The partnership aims to leverage digital technologies to enhance transport operations, improve customer experiences and support the development of next-generation mobility services.

Under the agreement, the two companies will examine opportunities in areas such as fleet and transport management, predictive maintenance, demand forecasting and connected mobility services. The collaboration will include pilot projects, joint research initiatives and innovation workshops involving public- and private-sector stakeholders. FPT will contribute its expertise in artificial intelligence, cloud computing and automation, while ComfortDelGro will provide access to its extensive multi-modal transport network across Singapore and other Asia-Pacific markets.

The partnership reflects growing interest in the use of AI and digital technologies to improve transport efficiency and operational performance. FPT, which has operated in Singapore since 2007, serves more than 500 enterprise clients across the Asia-Pacific region and employs over 30,000 engineers globally. The company also operates AI-focused development facilities in Vietnam and Japan. The collaboration is expected to support the development of practical digital mobility solutions and create new opportunities for innovation in urban transport and logistics across the region.
