The Thailand government is facing delays in commencement of project works on four HSR projects. These projects are being developed on the 252.5 km Bangkok-Nakhon Ratchasima, 382 km Bangkok-Phitsanulok, 193.5 km Bangkok-Rayong and 165 km Bangkok-Hua Hin routes. The delay has been attributed to studies being undertaken on the projects. However, the government is planning to still complete the projects by 2017.
