The Government of the Philippines has introduced its first blockchain-integrated ride-hailing fleet in collaboration with Coins.ph, inDrive, and Hivemapper. The initiative equips vehicles with mapping devices to gather real-time urban data. Drivers earn $HONEY tokens for contributing to a decentralised mapping network, which can be converted into local currency through Coins.ph.
The project aims to enhance urban planning while providing drivers with additional income. Privacy safeguards and driver education are prioritised to ensure smooth adoption and scalability.
