The Government of the Philippines has signed the Executive Order 32 streamlining the process of constructing telecommunications and internet infrastructure across the country. The guidelines will oversee the issue of permits, licences, and certificates and cover all government agencies.
The guidelines will apply to the construction, installation, repair, operation and maintenance of shared telecommunications tower infrastructure. Additionally, it will also cover the erection of poles, installation of aerial and underground cables and facilities, underground fibre ducts, ground terminals, and other transmission telecommunications and internet infrastructure and facilities.
