EVN’s subsidiary, the Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation, has launched six tenders under the 16.69 trillion dong Distribution Efficiency Project (DEP) that is being funded by the World Bank. Under the DEP, the company will build and upgrade 110 kV lines and transformer stations, as well as mediu and low voltage lines in 19 northern and central provinces of the country.   • Provision of steel towers for the 110 kV T53–An Nghia section of the 110 kV Nha Be–An Nghia transmission line: Supply, testing, and transport of four tubular steel poles and 48 lattice steel towers to the project site. Deadline for the submission of bids: May 3, 2013.
  • Provision and installation of electrical equipment and material, along with testing and commissioning of the 110 kV Go Vap 2 substation: Supply of 110 kV gas-insulated switchgear equipment, 110 kV high and normal voltage equipment, and steel towers.   • Supply and installation of electric equipment and materials, along with testing and commissioning of the 110 kV Hiep Phuoc substation. Deadline for the submission of bids: May 8, 2013.
  • Supply, installation, and testing of two units of 63 MVA, 110 kV autotransformers, and installation of the platform at the 110 kV Hiep Phuoc substation. Deadline for the submission of bids: May 10, 2013.
  • Supply and installation of control, protection and measurement equipment; AC/DC cubicles; control cables; along with telecommunication and SCADA systems, including testing of telecommunication and SCADA systems, for the 110 kV Tan Binh 3 substation and transmission line.
