EDP Renovaveis SA (EDPR) has signed an agreement with Xuan Thien Group for the acquisition of two of its solar facilities in Vietnam with a combined capacity of 200 MW. The acquisition is valued at USD284 million, with an additional earn-out conditioned to performance achievements.
The two photovoltaic (PV) parks are located in the Thuan Bac district and have been in operation since 2020. Both are selling their output at USD93.5 per MWh through a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA).
The closure is subject to regulatory and other customary precedent conditions.
