Thailand-based operator Total Access Communication Public Company Limited (DTAC) has selected Ericsson for the deployment of its Device Connection Platform (DCP) as a service to augment the operator’s machine-to-machine (M2M) offerings for the enterprise segment. The DCP facilitates the management and monetisation of M2M and consumer electronic devices for enterprise customers. DTAC provides M2M services under the TriNet brand that includes smart metering and points of sale solutions, fleet management, logistics and delivery, as well as mobile surveillance.
