Thailand’s telecom operator Digital Total Access Communication (DTAC) has completed the technical tests of the long term evolution-based technology to provide 4G services near Siam Square and Chamchuri Square in Bangkok. The test that was conducted through data cards and 4G-compliant smartphones achieved a maximum speed of 150 Mbps for downloading data. The operator contends that its existing network system has the capabilities to provide 3G and 4G services.
