The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has been implementing 74 of the 185 Infrastructure Flagship Projects (IFPs) under the Build Better More Infrastructure Forum in the Philippines. The projects focus on enhancing road networks, bridges, flood control, and urban development to boost connectivity, economic growth, and quality of life.
Completed key projects include the Samar Pacific Coastal Road, the Flood Risk Improvement for Cagayan De Oro River, and Disaster Risk Reduction in Pampanga Bay. Currently, 38 projects are ongoing, and 33 are in pre-construction stages. Additionally, the Metro Manila Logistics Improvement Program involves constructing and improving 11 bridges, and the Flood Control Management Program targets 18 major river basins.
