Meanwhile, DOTC has selected South Korea-based Incheon International Airport Corporation as the consultant for the Puerto Princesa airport development project. The value of the awarded contract stands at $4.1 million. The airport development project involves the rehabilitation of the existing Puerto Princesa airport to meet the standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization through the construction of new facilities such as a passenger terminal building, a control tower, an administration and operation building, a cargo terminal building, and other support facilities in the north-western side of the existing runway.
