Four groups have been pre-qualified by the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) for the PhP 120.4 million contract to provide consulting and engineering services for the proposed Bicol International Airport project. The groups are Ove Arup & Partners Hong Kong Limited; a consortium of Filipinas Dravo Corporation Key Engineers Company, and Proconsult, Inc.; a consortium of Schema Konsult, Inc. and Pertconsult, International, DCCD Engineering Corporation, and Philipp’s Technical Consulants Corporation; and a consortium of TCGI Engineers, Urban Integrated Consultants, Inc., and Engineering & Development Corporation of the Philippines. The government is spending PhP 963.2 million for the development of the new Bicol International Airport.
