The Department of Energy (DoE) has given the go-ahead for a 54 MW wind project of Philippines-based Trans-Asia Oil and Energy Development Corporation. The company has been granted the declaration of commerciality for the project in the Philippines’ Guimaras province. The wind power facility will be powered by 27 wind turbines of 2 MW each. Construction works that are expected to begin this year will last for 18–20 months.
