DNV, an engineering services company, and Keppel Offshore and Marine have partnered in an effort to speed up the adoption and usage of hydrogen as an energy source in Singapore. The two parties will collaborate on three main areas: safety measure, storage and hydrogen transportation infrastructure and offshore applications.

In addition, the two companies will work with government authorities to promote hydrogen use in the country, supporting the country in meeting its decarbonization targets. Keppel will provide access to its Floating Living Lab in Singapore, a research and development facility where safety studies and pilot activities will be conducted. DNV will extend its experience in engineering and expertise in hydrogen to commercialise the use of hydrogen.
