DITO Telecommunity, a consortium of Udenna Corporation and China Telecom, has launched commercial services in 15 areas in Visayas and Mindanao in the Philippines. The consortium had secured the contract in November 2018.  A nationwide rollout is targeted by mid-2021. The company is initially offering LTE and will later provide 5G services.

DITO plans to deliver an average broadband speed of 27 megabits per second and cover 37 per cent of the population after its first year of operations.
