Digital Edge has announced a USD4.5 billion investment to develop the CGK Campus, a 500 MW AI-ready hyperscale data centre campus at the GIIC Industrial Estate, Bekasi, which will be the largest of its kind in Indonesia.

The CGK Campus is designed to deliver 500 MW of IT capacity at full build-out, with scalability to 1 GW, and will support next-generation AI and cloud workloads. The campus targets an annualised power usage effectiveness (PUE) of 1.25 and will incorporate direct-to-chip liquid cooling, recycled-water systems, and renewable-energy integration.

Connectivity for the campus will be provided by Indonet, Digital Edge’s wholly owned telecommunications subsidiary. The project will use fully underground fibre routes to enhance network resilience, reliability, and carrier-neutral connectivity for hyperscale and enterprise customers.
