DENZAI Philippines Inc. has been awarded a contract to supply heavy lifting equipment for the 128 MW Tanay Wind Power Project in Tanay, Rizal, Philippines. Under the contract, the company will provide an 800-tonne crawler crane for a five-month deployment to support the construction of the wind farm.
The Tanay Wind Power Project will have an installed capacity of 128 MW and is expected to generate sufficient electricity to supply approximately 118,125 households. Once operational, the project is also projected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by around 197,780 tonnes per year. The crawler crane will be used for heavy lifting activities during the installation phase of the project.

The Tanay Wind Power Project forms part of the country’s ongoing efforts to expand renewable energy generation capacity and increase the contribution of clean energy to the national power mix.
