The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) has announced the appointment of Delfin Lorenzana as the new chairman of its board of directors. He will be replacing Gregorio Garcia.
Prior to his appointment, Lorenzana has held several positions with the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Department of National Defence. He had also served as the Secretary of National Defence.
The BCDA is a government-owned and controlled corporation which transforms former military bases into centres of economic growth. Some of the key projects that the firm completed includes the Clark International Airport New Passenger Terminal Building.
