Plus Malaysia Bhd has named Datuk Azman Ismail as its new managing director (MD) and CEO, effective January 1, 2017, following the retirement of former CEO, Datuk Noorizah Abdul Hamid.
Azman previously served as MD of Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd and, concurrently, as the general manager of its retail business, overseeing Shell’s petroleum retailing in Malaysia and Brunei. In his 30-year career at Shell, Azman held key positions in the operations, retail and finance departments. Azman holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
