The CSF Group was awarded the Data Center Service Provider of the Year award for 2013 by Frost & Sullivan at its Ninth Malaysia Excellence Awards. The award is evaluated based on a company’s revenue and revenue growth, data centre infrastructure, services offered, innovations, and achievements. The largest provider of co-location space to other data centre service providers in the country, the CSF Group offers customised large-scale data centre spaces to its clients in Malaysia. It registered a revenue growth of over 15 per cent in 2012. CSF is also expanding its service offerings to Vietnam and Indonesia, as part of its regional expansion endeavour. Further, CSF’s facility, Computer Exchange 5, launched in January 2012, was awarded the Tier III Certification by Uptime Institute. It is the largest commercial green data centre in Southeast Asia.

Meanwhile, the same awards recognised Check Point Software Technologies as the Network Security Vendor of the Year for 2013. This is the fourth consecutive year Check Point has been awarded for its outstanding industry achievements in developing innovative security solutions. During 2012, Check Point continued to gain greater traction for its network security products among Malaysian enterprises and recorded a robust year-on-year growth of 23.6 per cent. Further, the company played a key role in educating enterprises about its 3D Security vision in the country. Check Point has also recently launched various innovative technologies – the Check Point 600 and 1100 Appliance providing enterprise-class security for smaller offices; the Check Point Compliance Software Blade providing real-time security and compliance monitoring of threats; and the Check Point Threat Emulation Software Blade that works in conjunction with the Check Point ThreatCloud to provide holistic threat education and mitigation.
