Philippines-based Converge ICT Solutions Incorporated (Converge), a pure fibre broadband provider, has been awarded two titles at the Global Economics Awards 2021. Converge was named Best ICT Solutions Provider in the Technology Awards Category, while Dennis Anthony H. Uy, the company’s CEO and Co-Founder, was named Best Entrepreneur-ICT in the Leadership Awards Category.
The awards acknowledge Converge’s effort in launching an expansion campaign to extend fibre connectivity in the Philippines, with the objective of reaching 55 per cent of households by 2025. As of July 2021, Converge’s fibre broadband network reached over eight million homes in the country.
