The Luzon International Premiere Airport Development Corporation (LIPAD) has awarded Professional Operations and Maintenance Experts Incorporated (PROMEI) and Philippine DCS Development Corporation (PDDC) energy efficiency and facilities management contracts for Clark International Airport’s new terminal building in the Philippines.

Under the terms of the facilities management contract, the companies will conduct routine and planned maintenance and repair of electrical systems, mechanical plant and ventilation systems, plumbing systems, the building and hard infrastructure. Additionally, PDDC will finance, build, and operate the new terminal’s 3,000 tonne water plant under a build, own, operate, and transfer model.

The newly constructed terminal of the Clark International Airport can accommodate up to eight million passengers annually and was opened to the passengers in May 2022. PROMEI and PDDC will aid in offsetting around 41,000 tonnes of carbon emissions over a 22-year period.
