International Container Terminal Services Incorporated is planning to develop a 6 hectare container roll-on roll-off barge terminal at Tanza in Cavite. It will allow for container transportation between the company’s Manila International Container Terminal and Cavite City. Phase I of the project will involve the creation of a handling capacity of 115,000 TEUs at a cost of PhP 1.5 billion. The terminal will also be integrated with other major Luzon port facilities. It is being developed in collaboration with the Philippines’ Department of Transportation.
