Construction work on six stations under the new Thomson-East Coast Line begins

Construction work on six stations under the new Thomson-East Coast Line of the Singapore MRT began on March 7, 2015. The Napier, Orchard Boulevard, Orchard, Great World, Havelock and Outram Park stations on the 43 km Thomson-East Coast Line will serve around 150,000 residents in surrounding areas. In all, there are 31 stations on the new MRT line, which will be completed in 2024.
