Construction work at the Duyen Hai 3 thermal power plant (TPP) in the Mekong Delta province of Tra Vinh has begun. As part of the project, the three powerhouses will have a combined annual production capacity of 7.8 billion kWh. The project is being implemented by EVN, and has an estimated cost 28.4 trillion dong. The plant’s first generator is scheduled to be commissioned in 46 months.
