The Cebu Provincial Government has announced that construction work will commence on the Malapascua Circumferential Road in the Philippines. Work will start on Phase 1 (eastern portion) of the road project as all relevant Road Right of Way (RROW) documents have been signed for that section.
Documents for Phase 2 (western section) are yet to be signed.
The 5 km road project was first announced in 2004 as a part of the Capitol’s Malapascua Development Plan that aims to improve transport infrastructure as well as accessibility around Malapascua.
